Lauren and Audrey had twin t-shirts on Sunday. (I don't know the whole story, but I posted it anyway.)

Lauren's 12 Days of Christmas

We (Elizabeth, Mandy, Brandon, Marilee, Richard, Jordan, Jen, Audrey, Savannah) watched Lauren perform at the Scera Theater for her singing group, the Headliners. She did a great job, much better than my cellphone could capture. Anyway, enjoy within the limits of hand-held technology. :-)

Here is some cell-phone-video of the concert.

Labor Day Quick Trip

Labor Day Quick Trip

Diana and Melinda drove up to Utah to move Melinda in to her new digs. Joseph was able to come down from Rexburg with his Uncle Kirt and Aunt Brenda and surprise them. They had a great time. They spent the night in Paragonah on the way up and got to see the new trailer and John and Jen and gang. Then they moved Melinda in and had a party with the other free gangs up there. Then Sunday night they were with the Jamison cousins. Here are the pictures.

A Yankee Meadows Picnic

A Yankee Meadows Picnic

Here are some pictures of a picnic at Yankee Meadows. I can almost smell the smoke of the fire and hear the running stream, the wind through the trees and the playful romping of the dogs. I can almost see Brandon looking for the mud to jump into! There is even a snowman!

Here are some portraits of Elizabeth's gang in front of Rusty's house.

Aren't they the cutest things ever?

Here are some pictures taken of Matt and Chiaki's gang as they visited with family and made memories. I'm not sure all that happened so I will post the pictures and encourage them to provide comments on the pictures.

Pre-adult Paragonah Praying Mantis Plays Part of Free Fourth Family Fun

Pre-adult Paragonah Praying Mantis Plays Part of Free Fourth Family Fun

Here is a tiny praying mantis on Rebecca's hand. She found it out by grandpa's garden as we were having a fire in the back yard. You should have seen the kids faces when Grandma and Grandpa suggested we roast marshmellows out back. Ah, it was great.

Some of the pictures are time-lapsed images of Daniel and Joshua wiggling their burning sticks in the air.

There are then a couple of shots of the great family activities they had on the church lawn.

You can find the pictures here.

Three Generations Dressing Up!

Three Generations Dressing Up!

Elizabeth and Lauren came to have Easter Dinner with us. After Dinner Grandma opened up her Cedar Chest which contained her wedding dress and some artifacts from my mother, hats, scarves and gloves. I had always intended to mount them in a window box as a memorial to her. Also Grandma Worthen's wedding ring was there. The pictures show lauren at 11 years wearing the wedding dress her grandmother Isabel wore at 20 years. They had so much fun all together that I had to take a few pictures. They show three girls in three different generations having a good time together. I thought of the Prophecy of Malachi about hearts of the children being turned to their Fathers and felt this bond strongly as they laughed. More pictures

More Spring Break Pictures...

Here are a few pictures I took last week when I went down to Parowan/Paragonah/Brian Head for Spring Break.

(Thanks, Dad, for uploading the pictures for me! Ü)

When we went to church yesterday in paragonah ward, we were pleased to see that the front cover of the the program sheet was an original drawing done by Lauren. Wow, we all know someone famous now!

Panaca 2005

Panaca 2005

A few of us snuck over to Panaca on Friday for a couple of hours. We looked at the Wheeler Ranch, played in the sand dunes and swam in the spring! This is a great time of year for the tadpoles or pollywogs. You could see them popping up to get a gulp of air. It looked like bubbles all over the surface! Too fun. The picture will link you to many pictures of the adventures that day. I got carried away with the Wheeler Ranch...but that site had a sacred feeling to me.
