Ellie requested that we stop and get our picture taken with one foot in Arizona and the other in Utah...so we did. Pretty nice looking gang! (you might have to load the larger version to see their faces)

Yee-haw! Elena's clogging company performed on center stage at the Arizona State Fair last night. I think the last time I was at a state fair was on a fourth grade field trip to the Utah State Fair.

Anyway, Elena put on a great performance. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy. She couldn't talk Kristin or me into going on any of the "go around and around till you puke" rides, but we enjoyed being with her and sampling the state fair cuisine. The smoked turkey drumstick was great. We also enjoyed some indian fry bread and kettle corn. Washed it all down with a hunk of chocolate peanut butter fudge--that is my kind of outing!

Here are some pictures Dad took. He promises to put some descriptions with them. They come from a visit to Jean and Evan and Reid and Rebecca in Colorado, Dave's family trip up to the cabin and Mom's sisters.

I was able to get a week off of work and visit home! The best part about it was I surprised everyone! When I walked inside mom was in the kitchen. I snuck up on her, put my arms around her, and said "hi". She was totally surprised, and her reaction was definitely worth coming here for. Part of the time I spent at home, we decided to go camping in Canyon Creek. You can check out the pictures by clicking here.

Here are a bunch of photos of the last few days before Mike entered the MTC. It was great getting together with so many to wish this wonderful missionary the best. The drop off at the MTC was awesome - I'm green with envy that he gets to stay there!

We finally made it to the beach. Adam was pretty happy. Every week he would tell his primary teacher he was going to the beach that week...all summer long. Now he can say he did!

This morning Elena, Jeremy, and Madison were laying on Jeremy's bed looking out the window at birds. Kristin went outside with the camera and got the "bird's eye" view. No wonder the birds were hanging around...

Elena was baptised on Saturday, June 25th. This is a picture of her in the foyer before the service. She is a sweet girl that is making good choices. We love her to death. She also played "I like to look for Rainbows" on her harp for the service. It was lovely.

What a great day we had Saturday. Michael baptized Andrew and his Dad confirmed him. It was fun to have others there to celebrate with him. You can tell by his smile it was great!. To see more pictures check out the here.

On Monday, Jess, Jake, Nate, McKay, Elena and I got to go skiing at Sundance. Actually, only Ellie and I skied--everybody else was on snowboards. It was Ellie's first time and she did great. It was also Jess's first time on a snowboard and she was a natural. We're all very sore on Tuesday morning but it was a lot of fun.
