Your Introduction To: Kathryn Aurora Cluff

Baby Kate was born on Saturday June 26th at 12:33 pm and weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. She spent almost all of her first day in the NICU because she “swallowed too much fluid” (whatever that means), so we weren’t able to see her until Sunday night. Everything is fine now, so I guess I can forgive the hospital for keeping me away from my new niece! (JK, I obviously recognize that the hospital was just acting Kate’s best interest) Anyway, she is a pretty perfect baby. She is eating well and hardly ever cries and, of course, is so cute and cuddly. Awesome!
Genna is also doing great as well. I thought she might be uninterested or possibly even disinterested, but she LOVES her baby sister. She loves to hold her and look at her fingers and toes and kiss her head. She is always saying, “Look at her little fin’ers! (fingers)” I think it helped that grandma, grandpa, and aunt Holly were there to give her plenty of love and attention. :) Rebecca is also doing well. The lucky girl had her water broken at 9:30 am and three hours later had a baby! She recovered quickly and is doing a great job of being a mother to her two beautiful daughters! Welcome to the family Baby Kate!
