A few July happenings
Daniel, Joshua, Andrew and even Adam helped Cenric Nigbur with his Eagle Project, gathering flags that needed to be retired and then doing the retiring. They have helped pass out flyers, pick up flags, fold hundreds of flags (over 500 and growing). Then Joshua and the other Varsities in our ward helped retire hundreds of flags at the Tempe Fire Departments practice facility. So you can see some of these images here. Then on the fourth of July Daniel, Josh and Andrew went to the big party at Tempe Town Lake (over 40,000 people!) and they were on stage folding a flag that needed retiring. Turns out Daniel and Josh and Andrew ended up being the main event. So you will see some of those here. Then the last couple of pictures slipped in because I liked them! Our 4th of July apple pie is there complete with a firework (can that be singular?). And Daniel with the two most recent tomatoes. I love the color range in the closeup of the sunflower.
