The first pictures are...can you guess? Right, the temple. We are with Eduardo and Carminha, our friends there.
Next comes the beach. Those are lovely, aren´t they? Probably should have been censored. At any rate you can all enjoy Brett´s huge bi-ceps. That is Grandpa Feliciano with the yellow shirt in his lap, and Rosie and Felipe, Nado´s girlfriend and her son on the reef. I got to borrow the hat from the fruit salad man. Isn´t that cute? Carmen Miranda style. Ü
Then, we have the bus trip, before and after (which Brett took while I was sleeping...) and the crash in the middle.
These fine feathered friends are Gordello and Gertrude, Manoel´s pet parrots. They talk alot, but we don´t know exactly what they are saying....
That´s our story in a nut shell. Hope you enjoy it.
Rachel and Brett
Great pictures, blonde! :) I am so happy that Brett is finally home. He has been a great trooper the last couple years! I am very proud of his accomplishments and look forward to this day (getting his mission call). He worked so hard to get where he is right now! Way to go Brett. Enjoy your short but sweet time together before he leaves for the MTC!
"It doesn't matter whether your computer is able to compile all the family group sheets for everyone that ever lived on the earth, it remains the responsibility of each individual to know his kindred dead. . . Even if the work is done, then it is still each person's responsibility to study and become acquainted with his ancestors."
— Joseph Fielding Smith, probably the late 1960s
