Can we all do a session together?
So Joe had an idea a while ago that I think would be great to follow up on: let's all go to the temple at the same time. We might not be able to all be in the same room together, but in a very real way we will all be together in the Lord's work.
I think a great opportunity to make it happen is fast approaching. First, this would be a great way to help celebrate Mom & Dad's 50th anniversary. Second, Brett will be going to the temple for the first time, if I understand right, in Recife where Rachel and Feliciano are going to meet him. So I've done a little research on times and here is what I have come up with:
On Friday, September 16th (I know it is not Mom and Dad's anniversary but I think Rachel and Brett will be in Recife then and on Fridays we have an early session in Mesa) could we all be in the temple at the following times?
Recife 9:00 AM
Johannesburg 2:00 PM
Tokyo 9:00 PM
Orem 6:00 AM
St George 6:00 AM
Mesa 5:00 AM
We probably can't all start sessions at the same time (I doubt Tokyo starts them that late) but maybe Matt and Chiaki could be ending their session about that time.
Did I miss anyone? Let me know what you think and if it is possible. Maybe if the exact times don't work out we could all at least plan to be there sometime that day. I think it would be cool to be there at the same time, but let's do whatever we can.

What about me?
I haven't been to the temple yet. As missionaries here, we can go once every 6 months, and i know i will be going sometime in September. I will have to find out when, but i will definitely suggest the 16th. I will be going to the Chicago Illinois Temple!This would be so cool if i could go.

How cool is that to all be in the temple 'together'. The date and time work for us if we go to the Timpanogos temple (Provo's first session is at 7am). Thanks for a good idea.

I had sort of given up being able to join in, since we will be in Recife a few days later than the 9th. But, if everyone can do it on the 16th, then hurray!! We´re there for sure!!

We are there!
The last session starts at 7:30pm, so we will just be wrapping up as most of you get started.
We will linger in the Celestial Room as long as they will let us though, so there will be good chunk of time we are all connected into the temple network at the same time.
